The AST SAMS ENTERPRISE™ master network and Internet operations module is for office use by supervisors, inventory managers, field supervisors, GIS departments and dispatch personnel. This is the central office control module for the AST SAMS™ software application. This module can also serve as a single point of input, output, and management for those organizations that may not need to separate the job functions of asset management into more than one computer. The AST SAMS ENTERPRISE™ master operations module is the central control module for the AST SAMS PROFESSIONAL™ data gathering modules plus it too allows the addition and modification of new definitions, categorizations, users, new asset types, asset events, manufacturers, models and attributes for each asset category. As both Autodesk ISV and Autodesk Development Network members AST works closely with Autodesk to integrate the modules of AST SAMS™ with the Autodesk design, mapping and GIS systems including AutoCAD Civil3D, AutoCAD Map3D, the Autodesk MapGuide family and the AutoCAD Raster Design system. This integrated solution accepts all the information from the AST SAMS PROFESSIONAL™ field data gathering modules and integrates the asset data with the design and mapping functions of AutoCAD Civil3D and AutoCAD Map3D. You can then use Autodesk MapGuide solutions to organize the data and make it available on both network and Internet server platforms. Imagine being able to do all the steps necessary to take an idea from concept through design, marking, and categorization and then being able to display the design in its geospatial position on Autodesk's cutting edge 3D GIS mapping and data management systems. This uniguely complete information data set can be used on your network or Internet servers all in one tightly integrated set of solutions from AST and Autodesk. All data gathered in the AST SAMS™ field data gathering tools can also be exported to other standard GIS data formats used by the most common GIS software management systems.
